Anyhow... It has recently been revealed, if rumors prove true, that there will only be one pred in Alien VS Predator 2. And that there may be fully grown predaliens. (How does that work if there's only 1 pred..?) It is kind of interesting to see they're going back to the solo pred thing like in the first two films and most EARTH-BASED comics, but this actually fills me with dread. Why? Because we all already knew the aliens weren't going to be allowed to win because A) the movie takes place on Earth, and B) the Predator fans seem to outnumber the Alien fans and fans of both species combined. One pred on his own means that not only are the aliens going to lose, but it's going to be utterly rediculous and THE TERRORS OF THE KNOWN UNIVERSE are going to most likely be portrayed as weak, slow reflexed, ignorant little shits that can have an entire hive taken out by a lone hunter with a gun.
I don't know about you guys, but as a fan of both aspects of the franchise and not just the predators... I'm refusing to even think about seeing this movie until somebody else who is actually honest sees it first, and can tell me without any lies that not only are predaliens not portrayed as being super strong should they be in the film, but that xenomorphs as a whole are portrayed fairly and not just turned into cannon fodder/moving targets for the shoulder cannon. If these rather simple requirements are not met, then at least I know 20th Century FOX didn't steal my five dollars.
